Partial Eclipse with a short time lapse. I was able to capture a star that belongs to the Vega system. Look closely and you will see the star right above the Moon. 
About 88 degrees top & slightly left. I do hope you enjoy. I captured this with a point and shoot setting, but held the button down for several seconds to allow the light to fully reach my camera's mirror and lense. Want to know more about how this is possible?
You will need to know, learn, and practice the science of light, optics, and vision. Trust me; it is worth the time if you can spare it.
