Party In My Pants

I love the subject, and the title is cute. I do think, however that this photo might have benefited from a little more attention to the focus and a much larger depth of field. The next time you try an insect macro, try getting the eyes in focus, and using a depth of field large enough to keep the mouthparts in sharp focus. On a mantid it might even be helpful to step back in order to get a larger, sharper shot of the whole insect, since they're really cool animals, with very expressive faces and beautiful bodies.

But this really is awesome work!
