The River Runs Through

Smokey Mountains. One of the best trips of my life. I will never forget ................................ I walked 250 miles, breathed the free air, and realized that it wasn't the destination I was searching for. It was the JOURNEY I took to get there. I know now the life I want to lead, be, and live. I took more than a thousand pictures, and even then, no amount of pics could capture what I truly felt and experienced. It was one of the best experiences of my existence. I will travel to the ends of the EARTH. Just for one second to feel what I did. To see and feel and breathe and relive everything. I thought I knew nature. I was wrong. I thought I was a photographer. I was wrong. I thought it would be easy. I was wrong. I found some things even a camera couldn't reproduce. No justice. NO MATTER!!!! Some things are not meant to be captured. There are many wonders that no picture can capture, no picture can explain. Ohhhhhh how I thank every day that I have the ability to SEE. As I walk into the shadow of any doubt I will always remember the beauty. The beauty within, the beauty without, and all that resides inbetween.
I have a new respect for nature that even now amazes me.
I can't explain it verbally; but I can DAMN well write about it.
